Device not charging or showing lights

If a Pocket Charger is fully drained, IQOS says it is normal to wait up to 20 minutes before a charging light pattern appears. On ILUMA ONE, a device that shows no lights may have a fully depleted battery, and a blinking yellow light at the bottom of the light strip means the battery is low. Charge with the manufacturer-approved power adaptor.

Temperature limits

IQOS states that ILUMA performs best between 0°C and 50°C, and blinking white lights can mean the device is outside that range. ILUMA ONE stops if the ambient temperature is out of its 0–40°C range: all lights blink twice in white and switch off. On ILUMA i, lines alternating three times mean the device is too warm or too cool. If the device was stored outside its range, let it reach normal room temperature before use. In Dubai summers, do not leave a device in a parked car.

Red light

A red light generally signals a fault. IQOS lists causes such as a firmware update that was interrupted or failed, and, on ILUMA ONE, a magnet near the device. Move the device away from magnets and try a reset. If the red light persists after a reset, contact IQOS Customer Care.

Resetting your device

For ILUMA ONE, IQOS says to press the device button for 7 seconds and release; all status lights turn off, blink twice and turn on to confirm the reset. Other models use a different hold time (10 seconds on some), so check the support page for your exact model before resetting.
